The Bold and the Unbelievable

I cannot BELIEVE The Bold and the Beautiful won "outstanding" daytime drama in the 2009 Daytime Emmys.

That show hasn't been 'outstanding' in ANY area!

They've been writing the same storylines over and over and haven't come up with an original thought since the show started back in the '80's.

And I didn't think it was possible but through family and sleeping all over town, Brooke is now related to all the main characters on the show, except for about four!

And how far have the daytime Emmys fallen that they are now being shown on the CW channel.

I am on a break....

As usual, the repetitiveness of The Bold and The Beautiful has gotten to me once again.

I'm taking a break from the show and from this site. The constant switching of partners gets on my nerves BIG TIME.

It's like the writers have no imaginations whatsoever. They keep playing the same tune over and over.

what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man

Today Bridget remarried Nick.

Let’s look back on their romantic history.

They marry. Nick decides he’s in love with Bridget's mother. They divorce. He decides he’s in love with Bridget again, and they move in together and eventually marry. Then Nick decides he’s in love with her niece Katie. They divorce and he becomes engaged to Katie. As soon as Bridget becomes involved with someone else, Nick decides he’s in love with her AGAIN, so he breaks his engagement and the idiot actually agreed to remarry him. ALL in a fairly short time period.

Wow.

If anyone deserves a copy of “Picking the Right Man for Dummies,” it’s her. How many times does this asshole have to jerk her around before she gets it?

open letter to the writers of the bold and beautiful

Dear B&B writers,
PLEASE stop these repetitive scenes in which Stephanie walks in on a half dressed Brooke or a half dressed Jackie or a half dressed Donna and embarrasses them in compromising positions. She ends up rubbing lotion on them or helping them dress or watching them start to strip tease.

It was creepy the first time you did it and IT CONTINUES TO BE CREEPY.

we are family

Lord knows I am not a Ridge fan, but Brooke is totally in the wrong with her decision to allow Rick to stay at Forrester, and for asking Steffie to leave.

First of all, Ridge has bent over backwards to make things work and Rick keeps pushing and pushing.

Secondly, how in the world could she ask Ridge's daughter to leave her family's company, so that piece of shit son of hers could stay? He's a worthless user and she refuses to see that.

high times

What the hell is it with Forrester's and dangerous roof tops that they don't get?

We already had Rick fall off the side of a building.

Then Ridge charges Rick while he's standing at the roof's edge? Geez, what a FREAKING IDIOT.

wish they'd ship the whole bunch of them out to sea

The whole "Rick going off to war" storyline was STUPID and contrived and it shows how unstable the dude really is. And how bad the writers really are. Entering into military service isn't something you do because you're pissed off at your family.

Rick is annoying me majorly lately by not letting go of Steffie. Grow up, Junior, and move on.

nobody does stupid like B&B

Ok, so your daughter was killed in a car accident due to wreckless driving.

What do you do? Chase after another car with your OTHER daughter in it, causing it to crash.

BRILLIANT MOVE.

Ridge=Stupid

bulletin!!!

Today Ridge tried to show anger!!!

Comes as no surprise he failed.....

friggin' FANTASTIC

Thursday and Friday's shows have both been fantastic. When Taylor found out about Rick and Steffy.....whoa! Great reaction. I can't WAIT till Ridge finds out. Brooke's response was equally intense. Great show on the part of all these folks. I loved it when Brooke said, "I friggin' FORBID it!" LOL!

But seriously, Stephanie needs to get a life instead of spying on everyone else's. It's an insult to Susan Flannery's acting abilities to make the majority of her shows revolve around sneaking and snooping on her family members.....who DO have lives.

gonna dress you up in my love

Why in the world would Nick care if Rick didn't become president of Maroni? His swim line tanked in the first place and Nick has all the dresses free and clear.

Seems like a win/win for Nick.

And how in the world does Eric think he's going to explain away not taking legal action against Maroni?

she should be blonde

Does Jacki honestly think she can hijack Eric's entire line and there won't be any repercussions?

She's nutter than I thought.

I love it when she said in essence that Eric wouldn't bother to take them to court because it's too much trouble. Airhead.

And why in the world did Rick think this stupid idea of his was going to endear him to Steffie? He and Jacki deserve each other.

Why in the world was Brooke telling Katy to think twice about being angry with Nick? The jerk betrayed her.

all in the family

Wow. RICK was the one person I counted OUT as saboteur of the Forrester line because the entire time the show was going on, and Nick was supposedly getting emails from him, Rick was playing kissy face with Steffie. And yet, it turned out to be him.

I hope that idiot Steffie sees him for the selfish asshole that he is instead of forgiving him. What a jerk.

I'm happy the saboteur has "Forrester" as a last name since they were so quick to point fingers at the Logans. Hilarious!

ok B&B writers

We get it that Rick and Steffey can't be together. We know because you've bored us with ENDLESS scenes in which they keep going over and over how they can't be together, intermixed with their make out sessions.

designing idiots

How could EITHER design house have enough time to make up these clothes and throw a fashion show? And didn't Forrester just HAVE a fashion show? Now they're having another one?

Again, my vote goes to Thorne for saboteur....

i can't drive 55

Rick seriously needs to consider taking driving lessons before he mows over the entire Forrester family.

I think the person sending Nick the designs it Thorne. BTW, with a huge business being what it is, why in the world would ANY member of the Forrester family have to work in the BASEMENT? That is such a joke. I remember the office before. It was filled with materials and junk, which is utterly ridiculous to think that any member of the family would be forced to work there.

You know how most people on the soaps have pictures of their kids sitting around? I love how Nick has several pictures of HIMSELF. LOL!

wednesday's rant

Robin McGraw's appearance was nothing more than a commercial for her book. And, not unlike the V8 bullshit on Y&R, the intention was preachy and obvious.

Ok, this Nick thing makes no sense. He said his son "lives in this house," and yet his son is a baby. Like he'd know what was going on. Besides, just because he's losing his business, doesn't mean he has to lose his house. SURELY he has enough money to pay for that? And why wouldn't he have purchased it outright? Makes no damn sense.

Heather Tom is so wasted on B&B, not unlike Michael Gross is/was on Y&R.

what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man

Eric really does love Donna, doesn’t he? He knows it’s hurtful to have Stephanie around AND the woman who tried to kill her several times, but he does it because of the bottom line. Save yourself some time, Donna, and just stencil the words “door mat” on your forehead.

Best line of the day goes to Rick who told Stephanie she knows nothing about fashion. Yeah, she’s only helped run the family business since before that impudent jerk was born. What could she possibly know? If Eric has any sense, and we know he doesn’t from the preceding paragraph, he’ll fire both of their asses.

can you say "nutjob"?

Pam told Donna crocheting is "an art form that takes years to learn" and yet we're supposed to believe she learned it in the few weeks following her surgery?

If one more person gushes over that dumb ass bikini, I'm going to scream.

I do NOT like Alley Mills in this role at all.

And here's hoping Bridget doesn't get set up for another fall by yet another aunt. If Donna sincerely wants her to be with Owen, that's great. But I hope Donna doesn't change her mind, much like Katie did. Course Bridget has the suckiest luck with men, so I wouldn't be surprised.
